FUNCTIONAL DESCRIPTION
The ICE-PIC4X is a programmable digital I/O processor combined with a powerful DSP processor featuring:
- Two 16-bit digital I/O module sites, one SMB connector for external synchronization
- One Altera FLEX10K30E programmed as a 32/64-bit PCI controller (5/3V)
- One 80MHz SHARC 21160 for control and signal processing
- One Altera FLEX10K100E PLD for software programmable front-end bit processing and packet routing
- One 800Mby/s processor module sites for application specific processing needs
One processor module site is available for application specific processing needs such as digital tuning, demodulators, FFT processing, or PLD processing. All components are software configurable to support a variety of processing needs. See spec sheets on individual processor modules.
