The ICE DSP cards are developed with a modular interface for both I/O
and processing functions. The processing elements on the PCI card include
SHARC DSPs, FPGA based I/O Controllers, and Digital Tuners. These processors may be fed from the the I/O Modules
(data acquisition), or from data resident in the host computer (attached processor
functions). For more complex processing, multiple cards may be linked
together with point-to-point LVDS nodes, or through the host PCI bus. For software
technical information see the ICE
Midas option tree.
