SDDS/GigE Data Translator    **NEW**

GIGExD : The GIGExD offers data translation from A/D, ECL, to standard GigE UDP packets using the SDDS protocol.  Data can  pass through as "wideband" (raw) data or before SDDS packetization pass through embedded Digital Tuners for tune, filter, decimation operations. Time code is added to the SDDS header to time stamp packets.  Time code sources include IRIG for A/D conversion and Embedded Serial Time code from ECL units.  Options to integrate other interfaces besides A/D and ECL for conversion to SDDS/GigE are also available but time code processing has yet to be added for these other interfaces.   If time code insertion is not needed then these other interfaces are available immediately-call for details.

I/O Modules

I/O Modules : Modules comprise the I/O interface for ICE PCI cards and rumeL signal transformation systems.  I/O modules interface to electrical as well as industry standard signal types and convert these signals to digital signals for acquisition/playback to/from computer systems.  Examples of the electrical and industry standard signals are Differential TTL, Gigabit Ethernet Fiber, Sonet Fiber, Analog, etc.

Cables

SMS, SDN, Dat-o-Lite Cables, ICE Interface Cables : High or low speed cables for SMS, SDN, or Dat-o-lite digital specifications.  Cables are available in plenum or non-plenum rated versions.  High volume custom cable assemblies/pinouts can also be ordered.
